Terms of Use

Effective 29 July 2026. Screen My Orders is a product in development; this website exists to demonstrate the idea and collect early interest. By using the site you agree to the terms below.

1. What this site is

The site provides information about an upcoming WooCommerce plugin, a demonstration sanctions-list checker, and forms to register early interest. Nothing here is a finished product, and no feature described is a commitment to ship it in that form.

2. The demo checker is not compliance advice

The demo checker matches the text you enter against publicly available government sanctions lists (or clearly labelled sample data). It is a decision-support demonstration, not legal advice and not a compliance service. Matching is probabilistic: it can miss real matches and it can flag names that are not the listed person. You must not rely on the demo (or its absence of matches) to make any compliance, shipping or business decision. Responsibility for complying with sanctions law remains entirely with you.

3. Pre-orders and the founding price

Submitting your email on the pre-order page locks the founding price of $49/year for the Pro version. It is not a payment and not a binding order: no card is collected, nothing is charged, and you are free to walk away when Pro ships. Equally, the founding price is honoured only for as long as a paid subscription, once started, remains active. If the product never launches, no obligation arises on either side.

4. Acceptable use

Do not abuse the demo checker (automated scraping, bulk querying, attempts to bypass rate limits), do not attempt to disrupt the site, and do not use it for any unlawful purpose. The demo is rate-limited so it can stay free.

5. No warranty

The site and demo are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Sanctions data originates from official government publications and may lag or contain errors.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the site or the demo checker. Our total liability for any claim related to this pre-launch site is limited to $50.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated before launch; the current version is always the one on this page. The launched product will have its own terms of service and, for merchants who need it, a data processing agreement.
